PRIVACY
POLICY.

This Privacy Policy explains what Vibe Runner stores, what remains on your devices, what passes through service providers, and the choices available to you.

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

Public waitlist

When you join the beta waitlist, we store your email address, signup time, generated referral code, referral relationship and count, and optional campaign/source values from the link you used. We do not use advertising trackers on the launch site.

Vibe Runner app and computer bridge

The app creates random host and device identifiers for pairing. The relay retains those identifiers, hashed pairing credentials, and a last-updated timestamp so paired devices can reconnect and credentials can be revoked. Service providers may process ordinary network information, such as IP address and connection timing, to deliver and protect the service.

Information kept on your devices

Project choices, pairing secrets, conversation state, run timing, route, optional linked workout details, voice transcripts, and screen recordings are stored on your iPhone or computer. Camera frames used to scan a pairing code are not stored. HealthKit and precise location data are used only after permission and are not uploaded to Vibe Runner.

2. HOW SECURE REMOTE WORKS

Coding requests and responses are encrypted between your paired phone and computer before crossing the relay. The relay receives encrypted message envelopes and routing identifiers; it does not receive the message encryption key and does not persist message contents. Your coding agent continues to run on your computer and under that provider's account and privacy terms.

If a coding response includes an externally hosted image, choosing to display it may connect directly to that image host, which can receive normal web-request information.

3. HOW WE USE DATA

  • Operate pairing, encrypted relay routing, reconnection, and credential revocation.
  • Save and rank beta waitlist entries and send requested beta/product updates.
  • Secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.

We do not sell personal information, run targeted advertising, or track you across apps and websites.

4. SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use Vercel to host the public site, Neon to store waitlist records, and Cloudflare to operate the encrypted relay. Apple provides device permissions and optional HealthKit, location, speech, and screen-recording frameworks. We require providers to handle information only for the service they perform for us and with protections consistent with this policy.

5. RETENTION AND DELETION

Waitlist records remain until the beta program ends or you ask us to delete them. Relay pairing records remain while a pairing is active; Reset Pairing rotates the device secret, and we may remove inactive beta pairings as the service evolves. Local app data remains until you remove it with available app controls, delete the app, or clear the corresponding files.

To unsubscribe from email, use the unsubscribe option in a message or contact us. To request access to or deletion of waitlist or pairing data, email us from the relevant address and include enough information to identify the record without sending credentials or coding content.

6. CHOICES AND PERMISSIONS

Microphone, speech, camera, screen recording, location, and HealthKit access are optional system permissions. You can revoke them in device settings. Some features will stop working, but revoking one permission does not grant Vibe Runner access to another.

7. SECURITY, CHILDREN, AND CHANGES

We use device-scoped credentials, Keychain storage, encrypted transport, and message-level encryption, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Vibe Runner is a developer tool and is not directed to children under 13. We will update the effective date and this page if the product or its data practices materially change.
